"Li Chu Shuk-kwan Education Fund” cum "Lee Bing Vocal Music Development Fund” Award Presentation Ceremony
The Ceremony was successfully held on 31 March, 2019. We were pleased to have Dr. CHOI Yuk Lin, JP, Under Secretary for Education to be our officiating guest.
The scholarship for Li Chu Shuk-kwan education fund is divided into two divisions this year: Academic Division and General Division. Tang Lai Ming Eli, student of Hong Kong University of Science and Technology; Wong Tsz Shing, student of TWGHs Sun Hoi Directors' College; and Chung Man, student of KLT Funful English Primary School were awarded the scholarship of academic division. Cheung Ming Ki, student of Po Leung Kuk Ngan Po Ling College; Chung Ho, student of Sear Rogers International School; and Chung Yeung, student of POH Chan Kai Memorial College, 3 Judo players were awarded the scholarship of general division. 12 individuals who have supported visually impaired integrators were also recognized in the Award Presentation Ceremony
The scholarship for Lee Bing Vocal music development was awarded to Choi Lok Sze, Sui Hoi Yan, Li Hin Kwai, Lau Yik Keung, Tsoi Megan Hei Yan, Yue On Lam, Xu Kai Ki and Chan Bailin. The audience was impressed by the singing performance of the awardees.
In October 2018, four talented young vocal students were sent to UK for music exchange tour with sponsorship from kind-hearted donors. The four students were invited to share what they had learnt in the tour with their travel companions, Rev Peter KH Lee, Stanley Wong, Li Si Lai, and Chong Chan Yau.
To commemorate the late Ms. Lee Bing, after a video show of Ms. Lee's previous performance, two of her students were invited to give a vocal performance on the occasion.
